// About Me
Dennis Perpetua
Engineer, maker, and perpetual tinkerer. I work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and physical systems — from edge inference on low-power hardware to large-scale AI infrastructure.
I've been building things since I was a teenager, starting with modded Xbox consoles and eventually moving into software, then AI, then hardware again. Today I split my time between AI systems engineering and open-source projects that push the boundaries of what cheap hardware can do.
I believe the most interesting problems live at the boundary of disciplines — where firmware meets machine learning, or where cryptography meets mesh networking. That's where I spend most of my time.
// Experience
Building RAG pipelines, LLM evaluation frameworks, and edge inference systems for various clients.
Led backend architecture for a real-time data platform processing 100M+ events per day.
Designed distributed systems with focus on observability, reliability, and performance.
